Seal Beach

Seal Beach is located on the coast of Orange County, approximately 28 miles east of Los Angeles - between the cities of Long Beach and Huntington Beach. In Seal Beach there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many retirees live in Seal Beach. Annual events in Seal Beach include a Classic Car Show, a Summer Concert series, the Christmas Parade, and the Kite Festival in September. The Bay Theatre is a good place for independent movies. The Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge is here. Wide, sandy expanses and several great surf spots make Seal Beach a favorite community among locals, and conditions are ideal for surfing, kitesurfing, and windsurfing. Seal Beach has the second longest wooden pier in California that is used for fishing and sightseeing. Seal Beach offers residents an urban suburban mix feel, and most residents own their homes. Serving as the northern gateway to Orange County's 42 miles of coastline, this quiet, down-to-earth community is the perfect seaside destination to call home.
